Sunrise in the Mojave Desert, near Edwards AFB. Aww...the smell of Southern California in the pre-dawn darkness. Stockyards, oil wells. mixed with thousands of blossoms in the orchards, citrus trees loaded with fruit, and the scents of spring flowers! I didn't sleep much last night, adrenalin still in high gear. I finally got up at 3AM and prepared for the day. It was a beautiful morning in the desert.
